PNM Engineering are heavily involved in motorsport and currently sponsor a couple of local racing drivers.

Steven Hibbert, from New Mills, races the PNM supported Lotus Elise. He is an experienced track day "graduate" but concedes he "took a leap into the deep end" when competing with the Elise since 2004. After acquiring one of the rare Lotus Motorsport cars, Steven - with support from sponsors PNM Engineering and Hima-Sella - has given the car a complete overhaul. The is year will see Steven compete the Elise in the "Ace Vehicle Deliveries with Hillside of Heywood Sports and Saloon Car Championship".
