Lotus sporting models once again took centre stage at the MPH05 Motor Show in London last weekend. Held at the Earl's Court Exhibition Centre, the MPH05 Motor Show is hosted by Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond, the maverick hosts of the BBC TV's long-running 'Top Gear' motoring programme.

MPH05 features a wide array of high performance and luxury cars together under one roof. Brand new sportscars on show for the first time included the Gumbert Apollo and Wiesmann Roadster, while out and out sporting muscle came in the shape of cars such as the Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago, V12 AMG-powered Pagani Zonda F, and the new Ferrari F430 Coupé. Refined luxury came in the shape of offerings from such as Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Bentley. Other rarities included Christian Hrabalek's Fenomenon Stratos Stradale concept which made such an impact at the Geneva Salon earlier this year. The Lotus Exige and Elise models were prominently displayed in the 'MPH Gallery', while the stand show's finale say an Exige, dubbed as the "world's best handling car" being chased around the arena by a helicopter gunship on a giant screen which fired on the Exige, and effect very well enhanced by the 3D glasses handed to the audience.
